Emotional Intelligence

From entering the world of a relative with dementia or a child with autism, from overcoming anxiety to coping with the loss of a parent, from finding the courage to try new things to standing up to a bully, from moving house to making friends, from looking after our environment to exploring new countries, and much, much more.

Emotional resilience refers to one’s ability to adapt to stressful situations or crises. More resilient people are able to “roll with the punches” and adapt to adversity without lasting difficulties; less resilient people have a harder time with stress and life changes, both major and minor.
